Amy Seto Forrester is the author of SEARCH FOR A GIANT SQUID and SEARCH FOR A MYSTERIOUS MUSHROOM. She's passionate about diverse, engaging books for developing readers. She draws on over a decade of experience as a children’s librarian, as well as a background in the performing arts and a love of puzzles, mazes, and other forms of interactive learning. She is co-founder of the Guessing Geisel blog and has written for review journals including Kirkus Reviews, SLJ, Horn Book Guide, and Booklist. Amy lives in Oregon.

Andy Chou Musser is the illustrator of SEARCH FOR A GIANT SQUID and SEARCH FOR A MYSTERIOUS MUSHROOM. He is the author-illustrator of A HOME UNDER THE STARS, co-creator of the PLOOF series with Ben Clanton, and co-author of PAPILIO with Ben Clanton and Corey R. Tabor. Andy lives in Seattle, where he can also be found rock climbing, eating donuts, and planning adventures.
